Rename the downloaded savefile to something like SaveSlot0 or SaveSlot1. SaveSlot0 means the first save slot, SaveSlot1 means the second slot, etc.

Saves can be found in AppData. More specifically, put "%APPDATA%\..\LocalLow\AckkStudios\YIIK_ A Postmodern RPG" in your file browser..

The information that displays on the save loading screen is handled through "YIIK_FileSystem.txt". So when you download and insert a save, the information on the game load screen while not show up. Just load the save anyway and it should work.
